Yesterday, our expert in project management, CG Larsson, presented the concept of Sustainable Project Management
at the conference 'Passion for Projects' in Gothenburg.
Sustainability is a growing necessity for the future society. Therefore projects need to include sustainability already in the
initiation and planning processes.
CG presented a methodology based on ISO 21500 (incorporatiing PMI and IPMA processes) which includes processes
and ideas based on sustainability.
P5 (Product, Process, People, Planet, and Profit) is a model by which you can incorporate sustainability thinking in Project
Management processes, methods and tools. P5 has been developed by Green Project Management (GPM), and since
it is based on ISO 21500, it is applicable to all project models as well as projects in all different areas.
