LIFE Academy wins tender to implement capacity development programme in Renewable Energy

In June 2018 LIFE Academy was commissioned by Sida (the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) to plan and implement a new International Capacity Development Program in Renewable Energy. The intervention started with an Inception Phase of 6 months from September 2018 – February 2019, which will be folllowed by 2 batches of training programs with 30 participants each. The capacity development intervention initially targets 6 African countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

LFIE Academy is currently consolidating the situation analysis to understand the current status of renewable energy sector in the above mentioned 6 African countries. The situation report will form a key input area to design and develop the content for the capacity development programme.
