The Regional Phase on Efficient Energy Use and Planning (EE2013B) took place the 14 to 23 October. The participants met in Cape Town in South Africa to interact on their Change Projects and to learn from the South African experience on energy efficiency. In the picture the group is visiting Enkhanini in Stellenbosch to study the Ishack project http://www.ishackproject.co.za/  The iShack Project uses solar electricity to show how slums can be incrementally upgraded in a sustainable and socially just way.
