Thursday, May 22, 2014 marked the last day of the Swedish phase of the training program ICT and Pedagogical Development (ICT2014A) which was successfully completed. It was the 5th program of its kind where participants from ten countries in Africa, Asia, South America and Europe came together in Sweden for a 4 week long training program with the focus on the use of information communication technology in the educational sector. During their time in Sweden, the participants shared experiences from their respective countries and sectors, presented their Change Projects, participated in group discussions and visited various schools and sites for collaboration between the public, private and academic sector. It has been four weeks of intensive networking which will hopefully be useful for them and their organizations for many years to come. LIFE Academy have arranged this program in collaboration with the Department of Computer and System Sciences at Stockholm University. The participants have been provided with many ICT tools ready to be used and shared once they get back home to their organizations. They will now continue to work on their respective Change Projects until the Regional Phase which will be held in Bangladesh in November 2014.
