LIFE Academy is committed to comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679) and to maintain the integrity and security of any personal data that may be processed in order to fulfill LIFE Academy’s programs and projects. This privacy policy contains information about what types of personal data LIFE Academy may collect, how it is processed and protected.
The European General Data Protection (GDPR 2016/679) and the Data Protection Act (2018: 218) contain rules for processing personal data inside the EU.
The term personal data covers any information that can be linked to a person, such as name, address, photos, e-mail address, phone number, and etcetera. Some information is also considered to be sensitive personal data. LIFE Academy is considered data controller for any personal data that is submitted to and processed by the company. Processing personal data includes every act that uses or affects the use of personal data, such as collection, registration, storage and treatment.
LIFE Academy processes personal data in order to fulfill the company mission and the various programs and projects we are involved in. For example, to plan events, administer programs and projects, answer questions and inform about our business.
If someone mentions personal data of a third person in his/her contact with LIFE Academy, for example, in email, that person should be aware that LIFE Academy will be able to process the data if it is necessary in order to fulfill the assignment. If such information is considered to be particularly integrity-sensitive and LIFE Academy has contact information for the persons concerned, we will inform them that their personal data is being processed. LIFE Academy will process personal data for the time required to meet the above stated purposes.
On the occasion that a hired supplier and/or any other type of data processer will gain access to certain personal data, the data will be protected by the use of a Personal Data Processing Agreement.
LIFE Academy also collects and processes personal data upon mailings and notifications about seminars, programs and other organized events. If you believe that the personal information we process about you is incorrect, you are entitled to contact us and request correction and deletion of the data.
